Ferocious Media Reviews: Sonos

 

Hi, my name’s Adam, I’m the Video Project Manager here at Ferocious Media, and I’m happy to bring you the second installment of our new web series, Ferocious Media Reviews, where we’ll be reviewing products and services used by our company. The product we’re going to review for this one is the Sonos Multi-Room Music System. Sonos enables music to be streamed in every room throughout our entire office.

For starters, this system was extremely easy to install… so easy that we went back and double-checked it because we thought it would take much longer than it actually did! Once installed, many of us were pretty shocked to find out how powerful these speakers are. They only stand around 6 inches tall, but these things pack a major punch. And they’re not just loud, they happen to put out quality, hi-fi sound.

We started by buying 5 to spread out around the office, but once we saw how great they worked, our bosses ended up buying them for every possible open spot. We were able to easily connect these to our previous ones, and we are now approaching concert hall status! I work with audio for the majority of the day, so I was worried when I saw one in my office, but I could easily turn it down or off completely, without effecting anyone else, so it’s the best of both worlds.

Another great feature to go along with this is the Sonos app, which you can control with any phone or tablet. That really made it fun for everyone, as we now all take turns picking the stations or songs we’d like to listen to.

But I’m just one opinion, let’s hear what everyone else around the office is saying…
