Looking to kill some time during your lunch break?  It’s okay, we won’t tell.  Try out our five favorite Google Easter Eggs from 2014!

  1. Askew – Looking to see things from a different perspective?  Google “Askew” and watch your search results get a little shifty.
  2. Festivus – There is a Google Easter Egg just for you Seinfeld lovers!  Google “Festivus” and Google will gift you your very own Festivus pole.  Just don’t get carried away with the airing of grievances if your boss is around.
  3. Harlem Shake – Remember the Harlem Shake?  Of course you do.  We all do, including Google.  Head on over to YouTube and search for “Do The Harlem Shake” to see YouTube’s rendition of this viral hit.
  4. Google In 1998 – Maybe you are looking to take a trip down memory lane.  Maybe you weren’t born until 1999 and want to see what the “interwebz” used to look like back in the day.  Regardless of your reason, just make a quick search for “Google In 1998” to see how it all got started.
  5. Atari Breakout – This one is a personal favorite.  Head on over to Google Images and search for “Atari Breakout” – This might in fact kill all of your lunch break, so consider yourself warned.
